Vooban is shifting gears. We’re no longer just building projects for our clients — we’re designing, building, and bringing our own technology products to market. And a fast-growing product needs an enablement function to match: someone who equips both our internal teams and the teams deployed with our clients to deploy, sell, and support it with the same level of rigor, no matter who’s in the room.

That’s exactly the role we’re opening. There’s currently no enablement function at Vooban, so you’ll be starting from a blank page — no existing processes, no playbooks, no programs to inherit. We’re giving you a pencil, a blank sheet of paper, and our trust.

We’re looking for someone senior enough to eventually build and lead a team, but who’s even more excited about doing the work themselves first. You’ll define, document, and build what will become the way Vooban trains, equips, and supports everyone around its product for years to come.

What you’ll drive

• Build and maintain the single source of truth for the product, and turn it into practical enablement materials
• Build the technical enablement program, including onboarding journeys, deep dives, and deployment playbooks
• Build the entire sales enablement curriculum — product fundamentals, objection handling, competitive positioning — as well as a library of one-pagers, demos, and reference architectures, including security and compliance materials for the banking sector
• Build the support program, including troubleshooting processes, escalation criteria, and a self-service knowledge base
• Extract the expertise living in the heads of our most experienced people and turn it into tools everyone can actually use
• Define the strategy, success metrics, and cadence alongside product releases, then start hiring and leading your team within your first 3 to 6 months

What you bring

• At least 9 years of experience in enablement, technical training, professional services, or field readiness within a B2B software or technology company
• You’ve built an enablement function from scratch before — not just optimized one that was already in place
• You’ve experienced a go-to-market journey from the ground up, ideally with enterprise clients in a regulated industry, and you’ve been part of a founding or early-stage team
• You can think at a VP level while still being completely comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing the work yourself. You’re equally comfortable operating independently for several months without an established structure
• You know how to sit down with an expert who has never documented anything and walk away with something clear, practical, and genuinely useful
• You’d rather ship an imperfect V1 and improve it than spend months polishing behind the scenes
• You make extensive use of AI in your work — LLMs, agentic workflows, APIs, and cloud technologies
• Fully bilingual in French and English — this is non-negotiable
• Hybrid role based in Montreal or Toronto, with an in-person team gathering approximately every six weeks and travel within Canada. U.S. travel will be added as we expand
