DESCRIPTION
What you'll do
We’ve just landed a major mandate in the banking sector. The kind of project that calls for someone who can understand both the challenges of a financial institution and the code your full-stack developers are building — and bridge the gap between the two without losing anyone along the way.
Your role: define the client’s vision and product, structure the right processes, and design concrete solutions to their problems — backed by a deep understanding of software development and agentic systems. You’ll take over where the sales team leaves off and turn the project from concept into a real-world application, in a banking environment where rigor is non-negotiable.
In short: you get the plane off the ground, make sure your team has a smooth flight, and land it safely with the client.
What you’ll drive
- Define the vision for the client’s project and identify where agentic solutions can create real value
- Understand and document the client’s business processes, and lead workshops to validate them
- Design the solution alongside designers and full-stack developers, balancing business needs with technical constraints
- Prioritize the backlog with the client based on needs, budget, and timelines, and write clear user stories with acceptance criteria that make sense to both clients and developers
- Translate business needs into technical requirements — and vice versa. You’re the bridge between the client and the team, not just the messenger
- Align the roadmap with the client’s expectations and budget, deliver the right first version to production, and drive the iterations that followù
What you bring
- At least 8 years of experience, ideally in agile, technically demanding environments
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field
- Strong software development expertise and a solid understanding of agentic systems — you can discuss code and architecture with developers as a peer
- Just as comfortable diving deep into a technical discussion as you are sitting in a boardroom with banking executives
- Fully bilingual in French and English — we work with clients in both Quebec and Ontario
- A strong analytical mindset: you can quickly understand and take ownership of a financial institution’s business needs
- You thrive in complex environments and genuinely enjoy diving into new industries and business domains
