DESCRIPTION
What You're Here to Do
As a solution architect, you'll define the client's vision and product by optimizing the right processes and proposing innovative solutions to their problems. Starting from client needs and building on the work already done by the sales team, you'll take over the file and carry the project from concept to real-world application. In short, you get the plane off the ground, keep the flight smooth with your team, and land it gently at the client's.
What You'll Drive
- Define the vision for the client's project
- Understand and document client processes and needs
- Prepare and facilitate client workshops
- Design and document the solution, collaborating with designers to define the product and ensure it addresses the client's process and needs
- Support and advise the client on backlog prioritization, factoring in business needs, budget and timeline, and write stories to feed the project teams
- Ensure the client's business needs and the solution vision are respected, align the roadmap with client expectations and budget, and make sure agreed changes with the client are properly accounted for
- Help the client launch the right first version into production, and the ones that follow
Your profile
- Interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities: you're known as someone who can explain complex ideas clearly, capable of helping clients understand agile
- Fully bilingual in English and French, a valuable asset since we work with clients in both Quebec and Ontario
- The leadership needed to bring the team and the client together and move them all forward in the same direction
- Experience in client relationship management and advisory roles: even in the most tense situations, the client feels supported and confident with you
- Analytical mindset, able to quickly grasp the client's business needs and bridge them with the solution to be developed, in new and varied contexts
- You enjoy working in complex, stimulating environments and discovering new business areas
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience, ideally in an agile context (knowledge of UML to document business needs is a strong asset)

Patates Dolbec is the largest potato producer in eastern Canada. By implementing AI in their sorting machine, we have fully automated their quality control process, as well as avoided the waste of nearly 500,000 pounds of potatoes per year!

Did you know that threat detection on pipelines is currently done by pilots, who must fly over hundreds of kilometres while inspecting the infrastructure for potential dangers. The application we’re working on helps the pilot detect, validate, and report potential threats that the human eye and brain cannot process consistently.
Flyscan allowed us to try all sorts of new methodologies and to carry out their project the way we wanted!
