DESCRIPTION
What you'll do with us
We're looking for a designer with a true builder mindset: someone who wants to be part of the birth of our products, challenge ideas, turn complex problems into experiences, and take them all the way to market. You'll be one of the first designers on this product adventure at Vooban. What you build, define and launch over the next few months will have a real influence on what Vooban becomes. No big machine where everything's already been decided: you're getting on board right at the start.
What you'll drive with us
You'll spend most of your time working directly on our products, from their earliest stages.
- Deeply understand our users, their needs and their pain points
- Turn complex problems into simple, intuitive and effective experiences, from wireframe to prototype to final interface
- Work hand in hand with developers and the product team: test, iterate and continuously improve
- Contribute to product decisions and build strong visual consistency across our different products
- Move forward autonomously even when not everything is perfectly defined, because it won't always be
The other part of your role is bringing our products to life outside of Vooban. Not generic corporate branding: brand design directly in service of our two products in development and their go-to-market.
- Define and evolve the visual identity and brand universe of these products;
- Design launch and marketing assets: landing pages, visuals, presentations, campaigns;
- Ensure the brand experience stays consistent between the product itself and the way we present it to the market.
About you
- You think like a builder: you take initiative, you're comfortable with ambiguity and you want to create something new.
- You have excellent product judgment and understand user experience as much as business impact.
- You move fast, test, iterate, and you're looking for impact and ownership rather than tickets to check off.
- You easily shift from a product prototype to branding or go-to-market thinking.
- You hold a degree in design (UX/UI, product, industrial or graphic) and have several years of experience in a similar role.
- You know Figma inside out and fully integrate AI into your design process.
- You include a portfolio that shows how you think, and you can come to our Quebec City or Montreal offices several times a week.

Did you know that threat detection on pipelines is currently done by pilots, who must fly over hundreds of kilometres while inspecting the infrastructure for potential dangers. The application we’re working on helps the pilot detect, validate, and report potential threats that the human eye and brain cannot process consistently.
Flyscan allowed us to try all sorts of new methodologies and to carry out their project the way we wanted!
