DESCRIPTION
What You're Here to Do
Want to build data pipelines that hold up, run on their own, and make our AI, BI and OR projects shine? We're looking for someone who loves building solid solutions and understands how data flows and drives decisions, to join our data engineering team. If you want a direct impact on the performance of our solutions and to work on a team where people speak their minds, you'll be right at home.
What You'll Drive
- Design, build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines
- Integrate data from a variety of sources (APIs, databases, files, Kafka)
- Collaborate with our AI, OR and BI teams to feed their models and reports
- Act as the go-to reference on data structure, lineage and internal usage
- Test data quality and validate results to ensure the reliability of our solutions
- Version, document, review and deploy your code via Git/GitLab (branches, MRs, CI/CD)
- Contribute to putting pipelines into production alongside our Tech Leads
- Integrate AI tools into your work to boost your impact and efficiency
- Bonus: knowledge of Microsoft Fabric can come in handy on certain mandates, but it isn't required
Your profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or BI development
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Google Cloud Platform (required)
- Knowledge of dbt, or strong ability to learn it quickly (that works for us too)
- Comfortable with Git/GitLab, CI/CD, and a structured approach to versioning
- You understand the importance of tests and validation (dbt tests, unit tests, QA)
- Autonomous, analytical, resourceful, able to stay focused in complex contexts, and driven by a desire to contribute boldly, challenge ideas, and keep improving

- C++
- .net Core
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Azure
Did you know that threat detection on pipelines is currently done by pilots, who must fly over hundreds of kilometres while inspecting the infrastructure for potential dangers. The application we’re working on helps the pilot detect, validate, and report potential threats that the human eye and brain cannot process consistently.
Flyscan allowed us to try all sorts of new methodologies and to carry out their project the way we wanted!
