What You're Here to Do
At Vooban, we don't just deliver AI solutions: we help organizations, starting with our own, learn to build, operate and evolve them on their own. Canada's leader in applied artificial intelligence, Vooban applies internally the same standards it offers its clients: applied AI, agentic architectures and the industrialization of software development. This role isn't just about delivering advanced systems, but also about passing on our know-how to our own teams. You'll help Vooban's internal teams adopt the methods, architectures and practices that fully leverage AI in our technology processes. Beyond contributing your expertise by designing agentic solutions for our internal teams, you'll support those teams as their software development practices evolve through AI and agentic systems, helping them understand, adopt and master these new approaches. You'll act as an agentic expert, developer and technical coach all at once. The goal is ambitious: significantly increase internal development velocity and transform the way Vooban delivers its own projects and tools, with the highest standards of quality and governance.
What You'll Drive
- Design agentic architectures able to understand complex business specifications and generate high-quality deliverables (code, tests, documentation) for our internal teams
- Industrialize the SDLC through a Spec-Driven approach, automating Vooban's technology delivery chains to increase internal production velocity
- Develop and operate robust APIs that bridge internal business needs and automated technical execution
- Act as technical lead within mixed internal squads (agile pods) to accelerate the adoption of agentic workflows among our seasoned developers
- Ensure the governance and ethics of every agent: explainability, transparency and security by design, with the highest compliance standards
- Work in a collaborative model, closely partnering with Vooban's cybersecurity experts, data architects and business domain leads
Your Profile
- Advanced mastery of agent orchestration frameworks: LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen or proprietary solutions
- Coding agents: Claude Code (super important, must be well mastered), Codex, OpenCode, Amp
- Solid development in Java and/or GoLang, Python, Node.js - microservices architectures and CI/CD pipelines
- AWS cloud expertise: Landing Zone environments and Bedrock services (important asset)
- RAG architectures and vector databases, integration and fine-tuning of leading-edge LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, Llama 3)
- 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience, including 1 to 2 years deploying LLM solutions
- Technical leadership and mentorship, with the ability to translate cutting-edge concepts into plain language

Did you know that threat detection on pipelines is currently done by pilots, who must fly over hundreds of kilometres while inspecting the infrastructure for potential dangers. The application we’re working on helps the pilot detect, validate, and report potential threats that the human eye and brain cannot process consistently.
